As standard units these units are made to suit MEC (Kotzur) silo's and SMORGAN CYCLONE silo's, but we can manufacturer them to suit other silo brands also. Choose your drive options from mains electric, or hydraulic. All units are fitted with ground based controls for opening of the weather proof inlet hopper. Similarly, the unit is fitted with a clean out door at the lowest point (on the underside of the inlet hopper) and a fully seal-able silo centre fill cap. Mounts are also supplied with the units. Standard finish for these units is hot dip galvanized to protect the unit from the weather and to ensure a long machine life. Connection of the unit to the silo roof is easy with an eave mount and a centre fill mount (a mid auger mount may be required depending on the auger length). All units come with full guarding, an instruction manual and most importantly ready for use. Standard material thickness is 2 mm for the barrel and 3.5 mm for the flite. Optional 3 mm barrel and 4.8 mm flite is available but adds a considerable amount of weight to the entire unit (this may require engineering calculations to ensure the weight can be supported by the silo roof. Speak to the silo manufacturer about this extra weight). Unit sizes include augers to suit the popular 9.6, 11.4 or 13.7 metre MEC silo's and the abundant 30', 36', 42' and 48' SMORGAN CYCLONE silo's. Unit diameters are 200 m (8"), 250 mm (10"), 300 mm (12") and the impressive 350 mm (14"). Our STANDARD ISSUE for SILO ROOF AUGERS includes (but is not limited too):-
