KEOGH'S manufacture a full range of ROLLER MILLS, spanning from an agricultural range of units to commercial grade machines. Each unit is precision made and assembled by our competent staff and each unit is tested and subject to a final quality inspection check where we go over every nut and bolt of the machine. This applies to all units, not just the high end commercial ones.
Our range includes:-
Agricultural Grade Mills (commonly used in commercial applications)
- A 125 mm wide unit that is targeted as a replacement for the defunct BONLAC © mill,
- Our most popular 200 mm wide unit that suits all applications including Dairy Feed Systems,
- A 300 mm wide unit similar to the above 200 mm unit,
- A 400 mm wide unit built exactly the same as the above 200 mm and 300 mm units,
- And a TWINBANK variation of the 200, 300 or 400 mm units where there is 2 decks of rolls in the machine and the grain is processed twice (produces very fine milling samples that are commonly used for pig and fowl feed production).
Commercial Grade Mills
- A 400 mm unit built from even heavier materials and oversized rolls (more roll diameter=more teeth),
- A 600 mm unit built the same as the above 400 mm machine,
- And a TWINBANK variation of the 400 or 600 mm unit where there is 2 decks of rolls in the machine and the grain
is processed twice (produces very fine milling samples that are commonly used for pig and fowl feed production).
Standard drive option is electric, but PTO, hydraulic and petrol have been custom manufactured.
Standard finish is hot dip galvanized on all parts, excluding the guards which are gal sheet.
All units come with full guarding, an instruction manual and most importantly ready for use.
Numerous manufacturers of roller mills are cheaper than us, but when you understand that these other units commonly are not assembled, do not include magnets, a top hopper or mounting frame as standard issue you can begin to appreciate why we initially appear dearer, but actually are not. All we ask is that when you get prices on roller mills that you 'compare apples with apples'.
Our STANDARD ISSUE for ROLLER MILLS include (but are not limited too):-
- Precision engineered GEAR DRIVE set (a steel gear drives to an engineered plastic driven gear, therefore eliminating lubrication or constant adjustment as found in belt/pulley and chain/sprocket driven machines),
- Oversized bearings and housings,
- 1 soft starter (an electronic starting device) and 1 ammeter (for load monitoring) for standard Mills or 2 of each for TWINBANK Mills,
- A document bag with a basic tool kit, small grease gun and the unit manual,
- Full guarding kit,
- Complete with a set of stainless steel housed magnets in the top hopper for removal of tramp metal,
- Are pre-assembled ready use,
- Are complete with an outlet hopper flange for you to connect to your existing auger,
- Are precision fabrication and assembly,
- Have high carbon steel rolls that are CARBON NITRIDE HARDENED (a form of case hardening),
- Are referred to as the MILL OF CHOICE by the majority of farm/dairy machinery merchants.
Don't hesitate to call and ask anything about our range of ROLLER MILLS. We've been making them for a long time and have an excellent reputation as 'the supplier of a top quality roller mill'.
